Accessibility

Evashevski Elliott PC wants everyone to be able to learn about our services and reach our attorneys, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

What we have done

  • Every page has a single main heading and headings in a logical order, so screen readers can move through the page by section.
  • All features work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
  • Images that carry information have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Links, buttons, menus and form fields have names a screen reader can announce, and the contact forms label every field.
  • The moving background video and the client review slider can be paused, and stay still for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion.
  • Text has sufficient color contrast, and pages reflow on phones and when zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Pop-up windows hold keyboard focus while open, close with the Escape key and return focus to where you were.

Known limitations

Some content comes from other services we don’t control: the hCaptcha spam check on our forms and the embedded Vimeo videos. If one of these gets in your way, call us and we will help you directly.

Tell us about a problem

If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please call us at (541) 754-0303 or use our contact form. Tell us the page and the problem, and we will respond within two business days.

Direct. Personal. Professional.

While we invite you to contact us and welcome your calls, letters and electronic communications, doing so does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send any confidential information to us until such time as an attorney-client relationship has been established. We’ll review your message and connect with you promptly. We look forward to speaking with you and learning how we can help.
